Sigmund Abeles

Sigmund Abeles is an American figurative artist concerned with capturing the range of human experience and human emotion.  He continues to make art and is Professor Emeritus at the University of New Hampshire.

Abeles’ work is found in countless major museums, including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Brooklyn Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Whitney.
