An early woodblock print by the accomplished painter. Connie Aronson is primarily known for her vibrant use of color—but clearly she is equally adept working with little or no color.

This print is a beguiling picture of birds on a lamp-post. It is unclear if her light inking of the gray-blue is intentional, but it rather adds to the work.
