About the work
An abstracted picture of the gorgeous heather-covered hills of Hørbylunde, a place often thought of as one of the most beautiful nature areas of Denmark. This is a proof; examples from the edition are held in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Art (Accession No. 2008.115.4834) and of the Bates College museum. This copy, a proof, was exhibited at the Print Club of Philadelphia’s Annual International Competition.
