About the work

A moody depiction of a building entrance blocked by ladders, fences, pallets, and boxes.

This picture was one of twelve commissioned by Licht Editions to create a 1972 calendar. Works were contributed by Richard Anuszkiewicz, Mel Ramos, Red Grooms, Bob Stanley, Charles Hinman, John Wesley, Henry Pearson, Josef Levi, Paul Van Hoeydonck, Pierre Clark, and David Milne.
