Leonard Lehrer’s poignant expression of love for his infant daughter, Anna-Katrina, done in 1978 immediately after her birth on December 19. Inscribed by the artist above the image “for Anna-Katrina Picard Lehrer” and under the image “A commemorative lithograph offered with / love, gratitude and awe – by her / parents, Marilyn & Leonard // Born December 19, 1978”. The poignancy of this work is felt more keenly by Anna-Katrina’s early death caused by cerebral palsy.
Gifted and inscribed to the famed printmaker Fritz Eichenberg, making this a very special copy of this very special print.
