A lovely image of a woman watching her reflection in the mirror as she applies lipstick, with Soyer’s hallmark texture. Another example of this work is held in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (Object No. 84.394).
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity provided by Associated American Artists. Note, however, that Windisch and Cole shows a different work also called “Lipstick”, published in 1965 by Associated American Artists as part of Soyer’s “Sixteen Etchings by Raphael Soyer.
