A rare early work by an artist who has spent his career capturing natural beauty–through both photograph and etching. Very rarely does an early work come on the marketplace; McMillan etched this landscape when he was about 26 years old. But even then he was far from a novice; he had his first solo show at age 16!
This etching depicts the city of Virolahti on the southeastern edge of Finland, bordering Russia. It is a lightly-populated area, one-third of which is lakes and rivers.
This picture is custom framed in a black-painted ash frame behind 99% UV-blocking art glass.
